mountain bike trip in Mongolia a lots of fun. This unique trip take you to Chiggis khaan’s homeland Khentii province and Gobi, which covers one third of the Mongolian territory. Khentii is land of ethnic khalkh and buriat groups, and also of the famed chinggis khaan. It is where he was born, grew up, rose to power, was crowned and (probably) where he was buried. In the Gobi you will explore Three Beauties of the Gobi National Park eagle valley, Moltsog els (small sand dunes) and Flaming cliffs known as a Bayanzag (dinosaur excavation site).The Gobi which literally means “desert” consists of mainly of stony plains, rugged treeless mountains and scrubland has spectacular scenery.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival Ulaanbaatar city
Tour begins: At the airport in Ulaanbaatar you will be meet your guide and driver. City orientation tour begins with visiting Gandan Monastery. Lunch at the /Mongolian national food, modern and comfortable/. Visit the dinosaur exhibits at the Museum of Natural History and Chinggis statue at the government house. The day will be preparation day for biking trip. Check the bikes and equipments etc. Overnight in ***hotel. (L)
Day 2 : Ulaanbaatar-Har Zurhkh Hoh Nuur (the blue lake of dark heart) 240km (40 bike+200 km by car)
After breakfast bike to Khar zurkh hoh nuur. It is the lake which signed at Mongolian Secret History as "Temuujin and others moves from old sites and comes at blue lake of dark heart of Sengur stream inside of Khurelh for a new place". Just southern of this lake, there are ger site's stones of 15m diameter, used to be for King's palace when Temuujin were getting install on his Great Chinggis Khaan throne at 1189. Day 3 : Har Zurhkh Hoh Nuur-Bayangol 65km (bike)
Arrival in “Bayangol” tourist camp. Natural sightseeing. Relax and enjoy beautiful exceptional scenery. Overnight in tourist camp. (B/L/D)
Day 4 : Bayangol-Binder (42 bike+106 by car)
Drive to Khangal lake and visit the ruins of Baldan Bereeven monatery which was a main and leading religious center in the Eastern Mongolia with 8000 monks. Continue the tour to see some deer stones in the Jargalant valley. Road to “Chinggis homeland” tourist camp, take lunch there. After that will going to Chinggis Khaan’s childhood’s place: Onon, Barkh, Eg’s tree river merging point… etc beautiful nature place, will take walking tour. Overnight tourist camp (B/L/D)
Day 5 : Binder-Dadal 120 km (55 bike+65 4x4)
Drive to Dadal sum. It is historical and cultural place of Chinggis khan. Travel around Chinggis Khaan’s childhood’s place: Onon, Barkh, Eg’s three river merging point… etc beautiful nature place, will take bike tour. Overnight tourist camp (B/L/D)
Day 6 : Dadal-Binder 120 km (55 bike+65 by car )
Then drive for 30 km to visit Oglogchiin Fortress in the valley of Daichin or “Fighter” Mountain. Fortress made of rocks lay together carefully without using any clay or other sticking materials. Fortress is approximately 3 km, there are two places look like entrances. Most part of the Fortress cannot be differ from the ground, but the southern part is appeared up from the ground. In the middle of the Fortress there is a Rocky Cliff visible from a distance and according to legend this cliff was a place where Chinggis Khaan’s tethered his horses. According to S.Kondratiev, Uglugchiin Fortress was a strong-hold of archers of 12-14 Century. Mongolian historian H.Perlee confirms that Fortress was belonged to Kidan State on the basis of some findings such as pieces of potteries and earthenware. Overnight tourist camp (B/L/D)
Day 7 : Binder-Henty-Omnodelgher 120 km (57 bike+63 by car)
Arrival in Umnodelger. Relax and enjoy beautiful exceptional scenery. Overnight in tourist camp. (B/L/D)
Day 8 : Omnodelgher-Delgerhaan
Departure for Delgerkhaan sum. Arrival at Delgerkhaan sum. Accomodation in the tourist camp “Huduu Aral”. The Huduu Aral is a historical site where Aurug or Palace was situated. In 1240, “The Secret History of the Mongols” – the most important literary and historical work of Mongols from the ancient times – was completed at Aurug, where the Palace of Chinggis Khaan was. The 750th anniversary of this great historical work was held at Huduu Aral in 1990, and a monument was erected to honor the great emperor. Numerous ancient burials are found in this area. Day 9 : Delgerhaan-Choir 167 km (60 bike+107 by car)
Today we drive to Choir. Overnight in local hotel. (B/L/D)
Day 10 : Choir-Baga Gazrin Chulu 227 km (30 bike+197 by car)
After breakfast drive to Baga Gazrin Chuluu, during the travel you will see the Ikh Gazriin Chuluu which is the geographical attraction place established as natural high rocks. The lunch will be served as picnic. Overnight tourist camp(B/L/D)
Day 11 : Baga Gazrin Chulu-Mandalgovi 65 km (65bike)
After the breakfast, drive to Dundgobi province about. The Lunch will be served as picnic on the way. We will stay that night in local hostage. The dinner will be provided by local hostage. The track will go through the Gobi stepper. Overnight local hotel (B/L/D)
Day 12 : Mandalgovi-Tsaagan Suvraga 156 km (50 bike+106 by car)
After breakfast drive to Tsagaan Suvraga, which is the geographical attraction place established as natural high rocks. The lunch will be served as picnic. Overnight will be at the Ger camp. (B/L/D)
Day 13 : Tsaagan Suvraga-Tsogt Ovoo -Dalanzadgad 160 km (45 bike+115 4x4)
Today we drive to Dalanzadgad. Overnight will be at the Ger camp (B/L/D)
Day 14 : Dalanzadgad-Bayan Zag 85 km (bike)
Flaming cliffs “Bayanzag” – Dinosaur’s native land After breakfast drive to South Gobi (250km). On the way visit the Flaming cliffs (dinosaur excavation site). Bayanzag is an area of red cliffs, which formed from the erosion of sand and rock over many thousands of years. It also the site of several successful dinosaur excavations. Overnight will be at the Ger camp (B/L/D)
Day 15 : Bayan Zag –Khalzangiin els – Bayan Zag
After breakfast drive to Khalzangiin els. It also the site of several successful dinosaur excavations. Overnight will be at the Ger camp (B/L/D)
Day 16 : BayanZag-Khongoriin els sand dunes 230 km (by car)
Drive to Khongor sand dunes.Hike through the valley to reach a glacier that remains there year round. We then drive west to Khingorin els and stay on the edge of some of the largest sand dunes in the Gobi. A full free day to explore the desert. Climb a sand dune for one of the most amazing views you will ever see – sand dunes rolling away towards distant Rocky Mountains. Overnight will be at the Ger camp (B/L/D)
Day 17 : Khongoriin els sand dunes.
Next day camel riding hire a camel and ride across the desert. Overnight will be at the Ger camp (B/L/D)
Day 18 : Khingoriin els-Yoliin am National park Eagle valley 220 km (50 bike+170 4x4)
After breakfast drive to the beautiful Eagle Valley, Gurvan Saikhan Uul. The valley is about 10 km long and is completely shaded from the sun in some parts due to the high cliff walls. There you can walk and photograph spectacular local landscapes (Gobi Mountains). At the opening of the valley is a Local Natural History Museum displaying interesting information about the animals of the area. Overnight will be at the Ger camp (B/L/D)
Day 19 : Flight to Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast flight back to Ulaanbaatar. Today will be a day of guided sightseeing in UB, and free time.our travel car drive back to Ulaanbaatar with our 3 staff about 590kms. Guided sightseeing Free day. In the evening you watch exciting national folklore concert. Overnight in 3 star hotel (B)
Day 20 : departure
Tour ends: After breakfast at the hotel you will be taken to the train for departure. (B)

What's serving for you?
Tourist Ger camp: (Ger facilities) During your trip in the countryside, you’ll overnight in ger camps. Make yourself comfortable in a ger (2-4 beds). Each camp has a ger restaurant. Most camps are equipped with toilets and showers with other possibilities for entertainment.
Guest Ger camp:: (Ger facilities) During your trip in the countryside, you’ll occasionally overnight in guest ger camps. It’s more casual or less touristy decorated comparing to tourist luxury ger camps. Most guest ger camps are not equipped with flush toilets or hot showers.
by the nomadic family: Traditionally, nomad families used to leave 1 extra ger for random visitor’s sudden visit. Nowadays its a fading tradition but has found new life as tourists have started coming to Mongolia. Providing a sustainable extra income to nomadic families and providing for meaningful cultural exchanges, spare gers in the countryside are far more interesting to stay in than some tour camps.
Japanese van: (4 wheel vehicle) over the last several years Japanese vans have been successfully running for tourist services all over Mongolia. They have good air conditioning systems and are more comfortable to ride in which is appreciated by many of our clients.
Purgon (Russian van): Purgon is a grey colored van guaranteed for Mongolian bumpy roads and it holds 7 people easily. It’s suitable for longer trips and for those who are keen to save some transport expenses. We would suggest the van if you are heading off into remote areas such as western Mongolia or the Gobi.
