Tour Overview
Journey for nature and flower lovers through the forested foothills of the Khan Khentii Wilderness. The journey is on foot starting from the Princess Lodge (PL). PL lies only about 98 km from the capital of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar. On our journey we will be driving through the Gorkhi Terelj National Park. As we trekking through this picturesque scenery it is hard to believe we are so close to Mongolia's largest city.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrivals in Princess Lodge (PL) and short discovering flower trip
This morning we depart the capital and head east, along the road to Terelj, the only real settlement located inside the Gorkhi-Terelj National Park (65 km). From Terelj the paved road ends, and we head further into the depths of the park, heading up along a dirt track on the bank of the Terelj River, Approximately 29 km after leaving Terelj the track deteriorates and here we will overnight Princess Lodge. Relax in national Ger in the beautiful Khan Khentii Mountain and short flower discovering trip near the PL.
Service we can provide. 1/ before dinner, Presentation about flowers information and historical introduction of the Gunjiin Sum (Princess Temple). 2/ Evenings horse fiddle demonstration
Day 2 : Princess Temple ruin and Flower trip
Today we will take a full day observing flowers and visit the ruins of the Gunjin Temple (Princess Temple), which is nestled within the Khentii Mountains. This Monastery has many fascinating tales of love and loss of war and peace surrounding it. The inside of the Monastery was largely destroyed during the communist years, leaving only the outer structure intact, but the stories are still told keeping the spirit of this beautiful place alive. Field lunch. This area is like a flower carpet changing color every 10 days. Crossing little river and relaxing beautiful landscape scenery different direction. Return to base camp in the evening.

Day 3 : Full day Flower trip and direction White Stupa
After breakfast trekking to white Stupa and continue flower discovery in fantastic rock formation near bank of Baruun bayan river. Arrival at dinner. Overnight at Princess tourist camp.
Service we can provide. 1/ Demos national ger building 2/ Tea ceremony, including tea with milk and rice with boorzog which is traditional Mongolian doughnuts cooked in oil.
Day 4 : Visit Nomadic Family and visit Great Chinggis Khaan’s statue
After breakfast drive to nomadic family and learn their life style, creation new mind of nomads and also will be introduced how they producing dairy products, which is loved by Mongolians. Mongolian food is seasonal in the summer months, when animals can provide milk, dairy products become the staple food. Way back to UB visit Chinggis Khaan’s statue in Tsonjin boldog or we will directly drive to UB passing by Terelj.
Day 5 : Visit Nomadic Family and visit Great Chinggis Khaan’s statue
After breakfast drive to nomadic family and learn their life style, creation new mind of nomads and also will be introduced how they producing dairy products, which is loved by Mongolians. Mongolian food is seasonal in the summer months, when animals can provide milk, dairy products become the staple food. Way back to UB visit Chinggis Khaan’s statue in Tsonjin boldog or we will directly drive to UB passing by Terelj.

What's serving for you?
Tourist Ger camp: (Ger facilities) During your trip in the countryside, you’ll overnight in ger camps. Make yourself comfortable in a ger (2-4 beds). Each camp has a ger restaurant. Most camps are equipped with toilets and showers with other possibilities for entertainment.
Guest Ger camp:: (Ger facilities) During your trip in the countryside, you’ll occasionally overnight in guest ger camps. It’s more casual or less touristy decorated comparing to tourist luxury ger camps. Most guest ger camps are not equipped with flush toilets or hot showers.
by the nomadic family: Traditionally, nomad families used to leave 1 extra ger for random visitor’s sudden visit. Nowadays its a fading tradition but has found new life as tourists have started coming to Mongolia. Providing a sustainable extra income to nomadic families and providing for meaningful cultural exchanges, spare gers in the countryside are far more interesting to stay in than some tour camps.
Japanese minivan: (4 wheel vehicle) over the last several years Japanese vans have been successfully running for tourist services all over Mongolia. They have good air conditioning systems and are more comfortable to ride in which is appreciated by many of our clients.
Purgon (Russian van): Purgon is a grey colored van guaranteed for Mongolian bumpy roads and it holds 7 people easily. It’s suitable for longer trips and for those who are keen to save some transport expenses. We would suggest the van if you are heading off into remote areas such as western Mongolia or the Gobi.

Moderate traveler category - Accommodation in comfortable tourist camps and 2 stars or 3 star hotels, occasionally camping in the tent, Japanese vehicle or latest Land Cruiser jeep, guided horse riding trek (if you are riding first time), guided camel riding trek (if you are riding first time) and trekking.
Adventure Traveler category- 2 star hotel or Guesthouse, mixed accommodation and tourist ger camping or camping in the tent, field cooked meals, steppe biking for beginners, basic rock climbing and hiking.
Extreme adventure seekers – camping, field cooked meals, mountain and steppe biking (advanced biker), horse riding trip (advanced rider with more than 5 years experience), Camel riding.
