Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 : Ulaanbaatar city tour

Mongol Khaan Travel’s staff will welcome you from airport. Check in hotel after City orientation tour starts with visiting Gandan Monastery. Lunch at the restaurant /Mongolian national food, modern and comfortable/. Visit the dinosaur exhibits at the Museum of Natural History. Free time. Overnight at the ***hotel. ( L)

Day 2 : Avarga Toson lake

 Steppe mineral water sanatorium named Avraga Toson is located at the distance of 203 km in the south-eastern direction from Ulaanbaatar city. On the way to Avarga Toson we will visit Chinggis khaan statue complex in chonjin boldogt.  Drive further to lake, An artisan mineral water lake Avraga rich with carbonic acid gas and the mineral water.  Lake Toson Possessing a specific curing quality co-exist within the historically-rich homeland of the Great Khaan Chinggis and since the ancient time, they have been used in combination by the Mongolian folk for curing various types of diseases and illnesses. Day 3 : Chinggis khaan’s homeland, khentii province, Undurkhaan city

The northwest of the Khentii province is covered by the eastern part of the Khentii Mountains, towards the southeast the landscape changes into the eastern Mongolian steppe plains. Visit to the ethnographical museum in the palace of Tsetsen Khan, a Mongolian sovereign of the 18^th century. Overnight at the local hotel. (B/L/D)

Day 4 : Dadal Soum

Today we drive in North-East direction and arrive at the birthplace of Chinggis Khan, Deluun Boldog at Dadal village, Dadal is gorgeous area of lakes, rivers, forests and log huts, reminiscent of Siberia,which is only 25km  to the north. You can hike around admire the beautiful scenery. Overnight in the tourist camp.(B/L/D)

Day 5 : Dadal village and Choibalsan province

there are impressive Chinggis khaan monument in the gurvan nuur camp, built in 1962 to commemorate to 800^th anniversary of his birth. We continue to drive to Hajuu bulag mineral water spring, where the great man once drank. It’s the freshest spring water you will ever taste. Then we drive to the Choibalsan city of Dornod province. Overnight local hotel in choibalsan (B/L/D)

Day 6 : Mongol Daguur reserve

The reserve is divided into two parts; the northern half is hill steppe and wetland bordering on Russia Tari nuur and Daurski Reserve, protecting endermic species like the Daurian hedgehog; the southern area along the Uuiz Gol protects while naped crane and other endandered birds. The area is part of a one million  hectare international reserve, linking the Siberian taiga with the inner Asian steppe.Drive to the nature protection area Mongol Daguur through a landscape with many small lakes and watch rare cranes. Day 10 : Baruun-Urt city, Sukhbaatar province

Trip to Baruun-Urt city in the Sukhbaatar Aimag, visits to the Aimag museum and the Erdenemandal Khiid temple, overnight at the local hotel.(B/L/D)

Day 11 : Khamariin khiid World energy center

Drive to Sainshand city, eastgobi. Today we can not reach in Sainshand city. So, you will overnight in the gobi steppe. Overnight in the tent (B/L/D)

Day 12 : Khamariin khiid World energy center

Visit the Danzan Ravjaa Museum. And drive further to   Khamariin khiid.Originally created by Danzan Rajvaa in the nineteenth century and then destroyed by the communists during the 1930s repressions, the complex, complete with 108 stupas, has now been rebuilt. after a short trip to Khamariin Khiid Monastery, the energy vortex, the holy spring and an old meditation cave.  Overnight in the tourist camp (B/L/D)

Day 13 : Tsagaan Suvraga (white stupa)

Tsagaan Suvraga, a beautiful part of the desert looks like Painted Desert. You can hike up to a set of eroded limestone cliffs, from where you had a fantastic view over the desert floor down below, which bore colors from white and yellow to pink and deep red. overnight at the tent (B/L/D)

Day 14 : National Park Eagle valley trekking

After breakfast visit the beautiful Eagle Valley, Gurvan Saikhan Uul ,The valley is about 10 km long and is completely shaded from the sun in some parts due to the high cliff walls. Hike to the valley to reach a glacier that remains there year round There you can walk and photograph spectacular local landscapes (Gobi Mountains). At the opening of the valley is a Local Natural History Museum displaying interesting information about the animals of the area. Overnight in the tourist camp. (B/L/D)

Day 15 : Flaming cliffs “Bayanzag” – Dinosaur’s native land,

After breakfast drive to the Flaming cliffs (dinosaur excavation site, Bayanzag). Bayanzag is an area of red cliffs, which formed from the erosion of sand and rock over many thousands of years. It is also the site of several successful dinosaur excavations. Moltsog Els is located 25 km northeast of  Bayanzag. Surrounded by saxaul trees, they are smaller but beautifully formed and provide a pleasant alternative. Visit a camel breeding family, camel riding and overnight at the camp. Day 16 : Middle Gobi- Ongi cloister

Today we drive to Middle Gobi (about 250km) to Ongi cloister. Ongi found in 1760 place where 30 temple and 1000 Buddhist lamas used to live. During 1939’s communist purges it’s completely destroyed. Today one temple has been fully rebuilt. The grounds also include tow small museums.  Overnight in the tourist camp.(B/L/D)

Day 17 : Baga Gazriin Chuluu Mountains

Baga Gazariin Chuuluu, which you could loosely translate as 'Lucky Luke desert'. And the granite rocks with the yellow sandy plains. Religious texts on some of the walls, much every boulder in the area is sacred. Today we drive to Baga Gazriin Chuluu Mountains, which arises pictorially out of the flat landscapes. Day 18 : Khustai National Park

After breakfast drive to Khustai National Park to see a Takhi.  Known as Przewalski's horse in the West and takhi in Mongolia, these dun-colored, black-maned equids are the only wild horses left in the world. The horse is an integral part of Mongolian culture. During the 12th and 13th centuries, Genghis Khan and his descendants triumphantly rode horses while building the largest empire in history, a swath of land sweeping from China to Europe. Present there are 400 Takhi horses in Mongolia and 200 of them in khustai national park. Overnight in the tent next to Golden sand. (B/L/D)

Day 19 : Terelj National Park Outstanding Natural Scenery and wildlife

Terelj national park which started to developed in the 1960's and officially was classified as a National Park in 1994. Its situated North east of Ulaan Baatar(about 60km). The park lies at 1600 metres high and over 1.2 million acres large. Turtle Rock, or called Melkhi Khad by the locals, is an interesting rock formation looking like a turtle. The Turtle rock is set in a valley. Also You will visit beautiful Ariyabal temple on the top of a hill not far from Turtle rock, breathtaking view of Terelj national park scenery. There are plenty of opportunities for hiking, horse-riding, rafting and rock climbing. Overnight in the tourist camp. (B/L/D)

Day 20 : Khan Khentii Protected Area

 Khan khentii park is surrounded by magnificent forest,  almost uninhabited by humans, but it is home to endangered species of moose, brown brear and weasel. From Terelj national park the paved road ends, and we will head further into the depths of the park, heading up along a dirt track on the bank of the Terelj River, Approximately 29 km to Princess Lodge. You may visit nomad family on the way learn about nomads daily life process.

Princess temple by Oxcart or horse riding (depending on your choice), visit Princess temple. We can provice you oxcart, horse riding services. It’s even beautiful to trek to temple. Overnight in the tourist camp. (B/L/D)

Day 21 : Khan Khentii Protected Area

Day 22 : Ulaanbaatar

After Lunch drive back to Ulaanbaatar. It will be a day of guided sightseeing in UB, shopping and free time. Evening you will watch National folk dance performance. Overnight *** star hotel (B/D)
