Journey for nature and flower lovers through the forested foothills of the Khan Khentii Wilderness. The journey is on foot starting from the Princess Lodge (PL). PL lies only about 98 km from the capital of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar. On our journey we will be driving through the Gorkhi Terelj National Park. As we trekking through this picturesque scenery it is hard to believe we are so close to Mongolia's largest city.

Short Itinerary
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrivals at Baruun Bayan limit and visiting Nomad family.
Trekking distance 16 km (8 -9 hours) The tour begings from Hotel drive to Terelj National park. Start trekking at 10:00 from Terelj. The picnic lunch will be served at area of Bayan-Bulgiin Zo in the middle of grove. We cook on an open fire. After some rest we will continue our path and in the evening reach to Baruun Bayan limit and there we overnight. Here we watch and will be introduced Nomad herder’s life style and just beside, will attend to see evening milking the herd.(L/D)
Day 2 : Arrivals in Princess Lodge (PL) and short discovering flower and plants
Trekking distance 15 km (5 hours)Morning introduction of herder’s life style with good breakfast. The BF will be Mongolian, it consists of fresh morning milk and fresh natural yogurt dried curd and Eezgii curd. After the tour will continue follow the path. The path will bring us to the zone of Khan Khentii strictly protected Area and will march along the river Baruun Bayan and towards to the tall mountain range of Khentii. The lunch at Princess tourist ger camp. Next tour will held near the tourist camp area flora and flower tour. Prior the dinner, presentation of Princess Temple story and near the area of endemic plants and flora and flowers.(B/L/D)
Day 3 : Trekking to Princess temple ruin.
Trekking distance 14 km(5-6 hours) After breakfast trekking to Princess Temple ruins, and carry on back the lunch meals which has prepared and provided and it will be served as a picnic on the way with wild nature, nature table and nature chair!In the evening watch freely surrounding.(B/L/D)
Day 4 : Trekking back to Terelj and drive to Chinggis Khaan statue.
After Breakfast trekking tour will march back to the Baruun Bayan limit. Lunch will be served as a picnic on the way. At the beginning point there is car waiting , then drive to Tsonjin Boldogt and sight with Great Chinggis Khaan Statue in the valley. Drive to Ulaanbaatar. (B/L)

What's serving for you?
Tourist Ger camp: (Ger facilities) During your trip in the countryside, you’ll overnight in ger camps. Make yourself comfortable in a ger (2-4 beds). Each camp has a ger restaurant. Most camps are equipped with toilets and showers with other possibilities for entertainment.
Guest Ger camp:: (Ger facilities) During your trip in the countryside, you’ll occasionally overnight in guest ger camps. It’s more casual or less touristy decorated comparing to tourist luxury ger camps. Most guest ger camps are not equipped with flush toilets or hot showers.
by the nomadic family: Traditionally, nomad families used to leave 1 extra ger for random visitor’s sudden visit. Nowadays its a fading tradition but has found new life as tourists have started coming to Mongolia. Providing a sustainable extra income to nomadic families and providing for meaningful cultural exchanges, spare gers in the countryside are far more interesting to stay in than some tour camps.
Japanese van: (4 wheel vehicle) over the last several years Japanese vans have been successfully running for tourist services all over Mongolia. They have good air conditioning systems and are more comfortable to ride in which is appreciated by many of our clients.
Purgon (Russian van): Purgon is a grey colored van guaranteed for Mongolian bumpy roads and it holds 7 people easily. It’s suitable for longer trips and for those who are keen to save some transport expenses. We would suggest the van if you are heading off into remote areas such as western Mongolia or the Gobi.
